Muuto, inspired by the Finnish word Muutos, means 'new perspective'. The Muuto design team were given the freedom to express their creativity and personal style through everyday objects. The Crushed Bowl is a perfect example of an everyday object with a new perspective. We love this bowl as it epitomises much of what The General Gift Store is about which is why it is one of our favourite products.
The Muuto Crushed Bowl is a lovely addition to a crisp, white table setting and offers a unique alternative to regular table ware. This bowl is for lovers of stuff that is just plain different.
The Crushed Bowls show big scale architecture applied on a small scale object. The bowls are composed of equilateral triangles and principles used for computer modeling. Adding human ergonomics and aesthetics to the equation, the result are a series of vessels that are the Crushed Bowls - for everyday use.
