Postage and Delivery Info

Delivery within Australia

  • The General Gift Store offers delivery to anywhere in Australia for just $12.95 - no matter how much you buy.

  • Your goodies will be dispatched within 5 days of receiving payment. Our delivery is by courier to your door unless you live outside the main city centres of Australia, or you have provided a PO Box address, in which case we will deliver by Australia Post 'parcel post' satchel.

  • *Please note that as The General Gift Store is located in Western Australia, you may find delivery times longer depending on your parcel's destination.

Parcel Tracking

All our parcels can be tracked using either Australia Post's or CouriersPlease tracking systems. You will receive a dispatch email notice from us which includes your tracking number. You can go online and enter your tracking number to check on your parcel's progress. If the delivery status says that the parcel is 'delivered' then we take no further responsibility for that parcel.

Delivery outside Australia

The General Gift Store happily posts internationally.

  • Orders will be dispatched within 5 days of placement. Orders are shipped via Australia Post.

  • Generally, orders will be received within 2 weeks, although certain destinations may take longer.

  • International customers are responsible for their own local duties and taxes.

  • International postage cost: $40 AUD.

Damaged / Faulty Goods

All items sent by The General Gift Store are checked and packaged with love. In the unlikely event that an item is damaged / broken in transit please Contact us immediately - **within 48 hours of receiving your parcel. Please provide a photo of the damaged product via SMS. Please ensure that your photo includes the following: the broken item(s), the delivery label showing your name/address and the packaging. SMS to 0411 423 982. Faulty goods must be returned with labels and packaging intact for an exchange. Return postage costs are not at The General Gift Store's expense. We do not offer replacements for broken items, only a refund.
** If you do not contact us within in this time we will assume that you broke it! :-(

Refunds

Please choose wisely as The General Gift Store will not refund you for any product if you simply change your mind. Refunds only apply for goods damaged in transit. Sorry, postage is not refundable on any return of goods and return postage costs are the buyer's expense.
